Who we are

Olfactory Archive (the Archive, we, us) is operated by MYCCA Inc. This policy covers the Olfactory Archive website and services. For any privacy request, contact privacy@olfactoryarchive.com, or write to MYCCA Inc., 6285 E. Spring St #454, Long Beach, CA 90808, United States.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the Archive:

• Waitlist and account details you provide, such as your name, email address, brand or business name, location, links, and anything you write in an application or profile.
• Order and fulfilment details when you buy or sell, including shipping address and the items in an order.
• Usage data such as pages viewed and general device and browser information, collected to keep the site secure and working and, through Google Analytics, to understand how the Archive is used in aggregate.

We do not ask for or store full payment card numbers. Payments are handled by Stripe (see below).

How we use it

We use your information to:

• operate the waitlist, review applications, and open accounts by invitation;
• process orders, payouts, and shipping between buyers and brands;
• send transactional messages (confirmations, updates) and, if you opt in, occasional news about the launch;
• keep the Archive secure, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We share limited data with trusted providers who help us operate, and only for that purpose:

• Supabase and Vercel for our database and hosting (data is stored on infrastructure in the United States);
• Stripe for payments and seller payouts (Stripe processes card details under its own privacy terms);
• Resend for sending email;
• Google Analytics to measure traffic and understand how the site is used (see our Cookie Policy for details and how to opt out);
• shipping providers as needed to fulfil orders.

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to understand how the site is used. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from non-essential email at any time, and you may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. To make a request, write to privacy@olfactoryarchive.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Data retention and security

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Archive and meet legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise it. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, though no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Children

The Archive is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Archive grows. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
